Most beings need to eat. Some like to be social while eating. You can do that here. Food arrives through some form of TECHNOLOGY via some panel in the wall.

Katherine is another one here who would worry about blood later. For now, she's alright, and is walking around the mess hall scoping out more food options while drinking some health smoothie type of thing that is a strange colour of green. She notices the guy who basically looks like he's too impressed and interested in this room, and so she moves over to him while he's touching one of the walls. "Sometimes I get really excited about being in a mess hall, too." She teases, a slight and quick smirk appearing across her lips.

"Shut up," Spike said without much heat, from where he was pressing one cheek against the wall. "When you've been bloody incorporeal for months you can lecture me about public displays of affection." He pushed off the wall and cocked his head, taking her in. "Might let you lecture me about other things, in the meantime."

"That does sound rough. And annoying as hell." She can kind of relate, through experiences she had while running from someone for five hundred years. "Welcome back to the land of the tangible." She lifts her glass in acknowledgment of that before taking another sip of the smoothie.

She holds back a full laugh, and it comes out as more of an amused scoff. "I've been around a while, so, not short on topics. We could be here alllll day." She raises her eyebrows slightly.
